Railfanning at Long Bridge Park – June 2025
June 27 2025 – 4 – 8 PM Join fellow DCNRHS members and friends for an in-person, informal evening to train watch and socialize at
The programs of DCNRHS are designed to teach and share information about railroading, past and present. Our programs, unless otherwise noted, are free and open to the public. Many programs consist of speakers presenting a topic with audio/visual aids such as pictures, videos, or slides. As of 2020 some of our programs are presented on-line and available via our YouTube Channel. Links to many of them are also visible below.
In the event of inclement weather when we are having an in-person program or seminar, our monthly program will be cancelled IF the school district in which the program is being presented is closed for the day or closes early. For Alexandria this is Alexandria City Schools. In general, if you do not feel comfortable driving to our meeting because of weather or other emergency conditions, we recommend you to stay home. In most cases on-line programs will go on as scheduled.
