Our mission is to “Expand the public appreciation of railroads and their history through preservation and education.”
You will help us meet the goals and objectives of our mission by making a tax-deductible donation. Gifts of any size can help us continue existing programs or start new ones. You may designate your gift for a specific project or let DCNRHS use it where it is most needed. In addition to monetary donations, we also accept donations of physical property such as real-estate, rail-equipment, railroadiana, model train collections, books, etc. DCNRHS can also be named as a beneficiary in your will.
Besides ongoing restoration projects for our equipment and our educational programs such as trips and RailCamp, we are currently searching for a permanent home in the Washington Metropolitan Area for DCNRHS and our vintage rail equipment. This need will play a vital role in determining our future.
