We have been blessed to receive some audio files from Mark Shaw recounting the history of the terminal from the 60s into the 2000. Mr. Shaw worked at Washington Terminal from 1976-2015 as an engineer. His father was General Manager of Washington Terminal. from 1962-1983 before Amtrak took over. Mr. Shaw’s brother worked as a towerman. and my his brother in law was a maintainer. There is some very history interesting history here.
